Mole and Skin Cancer Treatment

Melanoma (including Sentinel node biopsy)

Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that can spread to other parts of the body if not detected and treated early. Sentinel lymph node biopsy determines if it has spread to nearby lymph nodes.

Basal Cell Carcinoma treatment (BCC)

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer. We can use a variety of methods to treat including surgery, combined Mohs and reconstruction, and, topical creams.

Squamous cell carcinoma treatment (SCC)

Squamous cell carcinomas are the second most common form of skin cancer. Surgery to remove the cancer as well the surrounding skin remains the most common and effective treatments.

Mole check

Mole checks are an important part of maintaining the health of your skin, especially with a history of sun exposure or family history of skin cancer. Moles are assessed with a dermatascope.

Skin lesions

Mole removal

Moles can be removed for cosmetic reasons or if they are thought to be cancerous. We can offer a "see and treat" service where the mole is examined and removed at the same appointment.

Cyst removal

Cysts are common, unsightly, and, can become large or infected. Cysts can be surgically removed as an outpatient procedure.

Lipoma removal

Lipomas are benign growths of fatty tissue that can develop in various parts of the body. Surgery, either by excision or liposuction are common and effective treatments.

Skin cryotherapy

Skin lesions can be an unwelcome sight on your skin, affecting your self-confidence and quality of life. Cryotherapy is a technique used to remove skin lesions by freezing them with liquid nitrogen.

Scar correction

Scar correction surgery can potentially improve the appearance of scars by removing the old scar, re-fashioning the incision along skin tension lines, and an intensive aftercare programme

Tattoo removal

Surgical tattoo removal involves excising the skin where the tattoo is located.

Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

This is a condition that produces excessive amounts of sweat commonly in the underarms. Treatment with Botulinum toxin can be fast, low risk and effective.
